Our family’s winemaking tradition began in 1900 with the dedication of our great-grandfather – from Rkatsiteli variety grapes harvested in his own vineyard in the village of Ratevani. Grandfather made wine for family consumption – using the Swabian method, in oak vats; this tradition was later continued by our father, Vazha. Today, in this small vineyard of Ratevani, where there are only 6 rows and the vineyard is almost 60 years old, we have planted Chinuri. For us, this vineyard carries a special history and emotions.

From 2015, brothers Guram and Giorgi decided to restore the tradition of making wine in Qvevri, and this is where the story of the Brothers’ Cellar begins. Currently, we have 2 hectares of Rkatsiteli vineyard and the annual production is 16,000 bottles.
